Young children who go to Tot Spot Kids get the tools and support they need for their healthy development. All activities are carefully designed to adequately nurture the emotional, intellectual and physical growth of our kids. Through stimulating situations and hands-on learning opportunities, children are free to develop into bright young minds.
Mission Statement
My mission is to provide a secure, nurturing, and educational environment for children; a place for children to bloom into responsible, considerate and contributing members of society.
I want all children to have the opportunity to grow physically, emotionally, socially and intellectually by playing, exploring, and learning with others in a fun, safe and healthy environment.
As a family owned and operated organization, Tot Spot Kids welcomes positive family involvement and encourages a parent-teacher approach where the need of every child comes first to obtain successful early childhood education care.

My approach is a whole child approach, working to strengthen and encourage every child’s emotional, intellectual, social, and physical being through the expert care of teachers and a unique partnership with parents.
When it comes to teaching, I understand the importance of involving families with their child’s developmental milestones and accomplishments. When new skills are introduced or reinforced, having you, your child, and I working together makes learning easy and fun. Using this streamlined approach to learning and keeping a close connection between home and school, Tot Spot Kids ensures each child enrolled receives the individual guidance they deserve.
I know that kids are naturally curious, so why not encourage this curiosity in a secure and educational environment. Guiding each child, while using individual learning levels, creates a significant foundation needed for skills used in higher order thinking.

Daily Schedule:
7am - 11:00am Arrival and free choice activities*
- 8am breakfast offered
- 10am snack offered
11:00-11:15am cleanup and quiet time
11:15-12:00pm Lunch offered
12:00-2:30pm Rest Time
- children who awake early have access to quiet activities.
2:00-3:00pm PM snack offered as children awake.
3:00-4:00pm Outdoor play (weather permitting)
4:00-4:30pm Free choice activities* and departure.
If weather allows, AM and PM schedules may be switched depending on the day. Sunny, nice weather will result in additional outdoor play time.
*Free choice activities are decided upon the child. They may choose from art, dramatic play, music and movement, math, science, blocks, reading books, fine motor, language building and sensory activities. I will also provide structured learning activities that the children may choose to participate in such as music and movement, science and sensory, reading books, language building, fine motor skills and math.
Diaper changing and toileting happens every 2 hours OR as needed, based on the child. Hand-washing occurs before and after meals, after diapering and toiling, after sensory play, after art and after outdoor play.
Infants are fed on demand and sleep on demand, based on their individual needs.

Full-Time Program
A Perfect Fit
-Age Group- Infant (0-2 years)
$400/week full time
Toddler (2&3)
$350.00/week full time
Preschool (4+)
$350/week full time
Your contract will specify your child’s days and hours of care.
Rates are based on a 40 hour work week and include up to 45 hours of care per week.
There is a $100 non refundable registration fee. This fee is per child, it is yearly fee, due at the time of registration and in January subsequently.
We are not currently accepting DSHS subsidies.

Drop In Program
Here For You
Drop In rates are $10 per hour no matter what age with a minimum of 2 hours. *Please note at this time we do not accept drop in for infants under age 2. We are also not accepting drop in positions during the Covid-19 pandemic to limit potential germ contamination.
Drop In clients must have current registration paperwork on file.
Drop In clients must call a minimum of 24 hours in advance to inquire about daily availability.
Drop In is only available if there are open positions, a full time child will have precedence over a drop in child for attendance.
Our Testimonials
If you are considering taking your child/children to Tot Spot Kids Daycare I highly suggest you read this first! I’ve known Crystal since around 2009. My son, who is now four, has been going there since just under two years old. There were times that I used her for full-time care, and times that I used her for last minute care. She has always been –incredibly- flexible and always willing to help. She has fantastic rates and I know that my child is well taken care of while he is there. She prepares nutritious and healthy meals and encourages learning through the senses.
I have never had to question or doubt Crystal and I know I can trust her full-heartedly. She is especially good with infants and really little guys!
She makes sure to stay up to date on all of her certifications and is the car-seat safety Queen. She doesn’t have any kids of her own but you’d never know it. She has practically become a second mom to the children that she watches.
